Riding a Boat at West Lake

We had a truly memorable experience spending time here. Taking a boat ride on the West Lake was a great pleasure, and we had the opportunity to take in the sights of the three pagodas

Lei Feng Pagoda

After departing from Center Island, we suggest taking a boat to the opposite side of the lake, home to the iconic Lei Feng Pagoda. Hangzhou is full of pagodas and temples, the Lei Feng Pagoda is a must-see.

This pagoda is a common sight, perched atop a small hill by the lake, reaching up to the sky and surveying the surrounding area. The journey to the highest floor is brief, comprising only five floors, and if you don’t feel like climbing up the stairs, you can take the escalator or the steps to reach the top of the hill.

From the higher levels, the magnificent panoramic views of small boats peacefully gliding across the tranquil lake, and the distant hills in the background can easily evoke the imagery from traditional Chinese landscape paintings.
