Petronas Twin Towers. When you travel to Malaysia for the first time, Petronas Twin Towers is a must-see attraction. A trip won’t be complete without a visit to the world’s tallest Twin Towers.

The Petronas Twin Towers are one of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic cityscapes. Located in the center of Kuala Lumpur, the building is 452 meters high and has a total of 88 floors.

Two identical buildings designed by famous Argentinean architect Cesar Pelli in a postmodern Islamic design stand side by side, connected by trestles in the middle.

A good location for photography of the towers is the KLCC Park which is easily accessible from Suria KLCC shopping mall.

In 2021, the Merdeka 118 surpassed the Petronas Twin Towers as the tallest building in Malaysia. Despite being the many tallest buildings in the world, the Petronas Twin Towers remain an iconic symbol of modern Malaysia.

Ticketing Counter

There is a sky bridge on levels 41 and 42 of the tower to facilitate communication between buildings. If you plan to visit, It is recommended to book online one day in advance at the official website for booking

They have limited the number of 1000 visitors for daily visits, so when that number is reached, they don’t sell tickets anymore.

Sky Bridge at Level 41

You can take the elevator to the Sky Bridge on level 41 and walk across the Sky Bridge and spend about 10 – 15 minutes admiring the beautiful scenery of the view.

It’s amazing walking across the sky bridge linking the 2 towers. Nevertheless, it was a good experience for sure

The Observation Deck

We went up the lift to the Observation Deck on Level 86, where we were given 15 – 20 minutes to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur and photo opportunities.

The scenery here is very mesmerizing. The Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur is definitely worth visiting especially night view is super beautiful.

Especially at night when the lights are bright, the scenery is particularly magnificent, and the feeling of connecting to the starry sky is a bit dreamlike.

KLCC Park

Around the Twin Towers, there’s a beautiful landscaped KLCC Park which features a jogging track, walking paths, an attractive water fountain, a kids’ play area, etc.

It’s a great place to spend time with family and friends, especially in the morning and evening.

Public children’s swimming pool and greenery trees surrounding. Children can wear swimsuits or T-shirts and shorts to enter the water.

It’s very nice to go exercise in the mornings and evenings and lots of people on the trail.

Water fountains are provided and you don’t need to worry about being thirsty when exercising.

Suria KLCC Shopping Mall

There are 6 floors in total, and there are all kinds of goods in it, ranging from luxury brands from all over the world, clothing, shoes and hats, household appliances, electronic products, or gourmet food and beverages.

You can find them here. It is very worth visiting and taking a stroll.

For those who like shopping, remember to use your passport to get a discount card at the concierge desk on the ground floor.

KLCC Lake Symphony Light

The musical fountains within KLCC Park offer beautiful, colorful light, musical, and water performances every night.

The light and musical showtimes are 8 pm, 9 pm, and 10 pm with smaller light-only shows at 7.30 pm, 8.30 pm, and 9.30 pm daily. Each show lasts approximately 10 minutes.

A visit to Kuala Lumpur is never complete without seeing the Twin Towers. A truly fabulous impressive place. Kuala Lumpur’s city center is an impressive sight with its structure.

Getting Here by Train

  • KTM (Seremban Line & Port Klang Line) Ride to KL Sentral then Switch to LRT Kelana Jaya Line and stop at KLCC Station.
  • LRT (Ampang Line & Sri Petaling Line) Ride to Masjid Jamek then switch to LRT Kelana Jaya Line and stop at KLCC Station.
  • MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line For a ride with MRT, you will first need to stop by Pasar Seni station, and then switch to LRT Kelana Jaya Line. From there, you can proceed to head toward KLCC station.
  • KL Monorail Line For a ride using the monorail, stop by KL Sentral or Bukit Nanas and look out for LRT Kelana Jaya Line. Head towards KLCC station from there.
