We were really impressed by the Fuji TV building, its architecture is a unique structure with its sphere on top making it look space-age and modern. It is located on Odaiba, the manmade island built off the mainland shore of Tokyo, Minato district.

The ultra-futuristic building was designed by the architect Kenzo Tange and completed in 1997. It serves as the corporate headquarters of the Fuji Television Network and houses several studios.

You can purchase a ticket for the Hachitama Spherical Observation Room (25th floor) and 24th Floor area from the desk on the 7th floor (Fujisan Terrace) at the top of the escalators.
The entrance fee was 700 yen per adult for the observatory. It is closed on Mondays. The building is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The first unique feature that you come across is the escalators. The escalators are horizontal and vertical and are almost like a low-speed roller coaster.

Inside the sphere, there are several floors with different features. On the main floor is the main observatory, with huge windows offering great, scenic views in all directions.

The observation deck in the sphere offers very good views of the Rainbow bridge and across the river to Tokyo.

If you are into Japanese TV, visiting the Fuji TV Building is unavoidable. Excitingly, you can roam around one floor where they have displays of ongoing TV shows.

One of the most memorable experiences at Fuji TV Odaiba is the Autograph Wall. This interactive wall of fame holds autographs from some of the biggest celebrities in Japan, including actors, singers, and athletes.

The Fuji TV Building is a great place to visit for anyone who is interested in Japanese culture, television, or modern architecture.
