St Patrick’s is the tallest and largest Church building in Australia. The building is inspirational. The architecture is wonderful and the ground is clean and calming. This is not the only reason to visit, but it is a great one.

Scenic Beauty
I m just love this Cathedral. A wonderful place to stand and gaze at. Well worth the walk and lots of beautiful scenery for photo opportunities.
Cultural and Religious Significance
The fountains on the side are nice. There are benches for people to relax after a long walk. The gardens have some lovely water features.
A number of statues surrounding the Church include Archbishop Mannix, St Mary MacKillop, and Daniel O’Connell, etc.
It isn’t just Europe that has magnificent Churches but in Melbourne, St Patricks Church was definitely worth a visit even if you have no interest in religion.
